چکیده

Objectives: Prevention of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is necessary for patients with human immunodeficiency (HIV), since co-infection associated increased in mortality. The aim this study was to investigate response double-dose HBV vaccine HIV. Methods: A total 149 HIV were retrospectively evaluated. Sixty-eight who seronegative and administered included the study. According anti HBs levels, evaluated three groups: < 10 mIU/mL, 10-100 mIU/mL ≥ 100 mIU/mL. Age, sex, transmission route, smoking, alcohol-substance abuse, comorbidities, CD4+ T cells counts viral load compared groups. Results: rate vaccination (anti mIU/mL) 69.1%. Age statistically significantly higher group than >100 group. level lower a cell count 200 cells/μL (< mIU/mL). Conclusions: use high-dose necessity as well revaccination improve immunogenicity In our study, low lymphocyte older age found have negative effect on response.

Immune Response to Standard Hepatitis B Vaccination in HIV-Infected Patients

Background: Due to their similar routes of transmission, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV) co-infection occurs considerably. HBV infection progresses more rapidly in HIV-infected patients. Therefore, HBV vaccination of all non-immune HIV infected patients is recommended. On the other hand, HIV-infected subjects have suboptimal responses to HBV vaccine. In this study...
